Net providers to begin sending 'pirate' emails

UK ISPs are to start sending "educational letters" to customers identified as downloading copyright material without paying for it.

I don't think smaller ISPs are obligated to "educate" their customers.   :whistle:

Also, from reading the BBC article it rather looks like they are closing the stable door after the horse has bolted.

It looks to me like they're monitoring P2P activity only.

Apparently, the letter only refers to downloading, not streaming.   ;)
