Text transfer

What is the easiest and best way of transferring my messages from the iPhone 4s to the 5s. I have transferred everything else such as contacts but can't figure the best way to do this.  :dunno:

Does restoring the 5S from a 4S backup in iTunes not do it?  I'm pretty sure that's how I transferred all the data from one iPhone to another when I had them.

I agree Simon. When I went from my 3GS to 4, replaced the 4 under insurance with another and finally went from the 4 to the 6 plus I made a backup up the old phone and restored that to the new. That way all apps, messages and settings were carried over with minimal hassle.

Thanks for that everyone  :D I backed up the 4s with iTunes and then updated the 5s and it worked like a dream.

Have to admit, Apple have that side of things sewn up.
