Unless IDNet have changed the gateway address i.e. "ipconfig/all" it should be found at 192.168.1.254. I don't recall it requiring specific port either. Are you getting the request for user name and password?
It's possible that they've changed the default port configuration as part of their pre-configuration of the modem.
My question revolves around not displaying any line stats at all. Line rate upstream and downstream are both showing zero
You won't see any line stats at all on FTTP, it's Ethernet from the ONT, the router only makes a PPPoE connection.
GEA-FTTP will provide an ‘always on’ Virtual LAN (VLAN) between the Optical Line Termination (OLT) equipment in a BT exchange and each Optical Network Termination (ONT) device in the End User premises.
So could I still telnet for the stats or as it is not adsl have I no way of finding my actual speeds?
